High Quality STEREO Mix Of This 5 Star Recording By New Jersey's "Knickerbockers" That Made It To #20 On The Billboard "Hot 100". I Remember Believing This Was Actually The Beatles When I First Heard It Playing On My AM Transistor Radio Back In 1966. It's The Best Beatles Tune Never Recorded By The Beatles. Now, Dig It In Two Channels Instead Of Just One!

Thanks Mike, your sound quality is the best by far on all the recordings that you post!

Most of us kids thought this was the Fab Four, LOL. These guys recorded what is unquestionably the best Beatles imitation ever.

just like the hudson bros. blew paul out of the water with so you are a star 1974, these guys destroyed lennon. linda was a man. the real beatles were john, stu, george and pete with andy white in reserve.

This and "One Track Mind" are sheer genius. Too bad the well ran dry after only two songs! :D

Covered by Styx and Linda Ronstadt. I put this one and hers in my Ronstadt playlist. Sounds great, thanks for the upload!

I heard the Beatles thought this was one of their songs when they heard this the first time

Though a much more "garage" band, "Beep Beep and the Roadrunners" has an early Beatles/Lennon sound as well.. /watch?v=5cJtF2oMFMM

This has always been a favorite (and you're cheating yourself if you don't check out the other amazing songs this band did,, "One Track Mind" is a great start) and as far as Beatles soundalike songs go, I've always found this /8abYGlWHDdA to be pretty close (The Sundowners "Dear Undecided." - though none of their other songs sound this Beatle-esque their album Captain Nemo is fantastic) =)

Yes, definitely heavy John Lennon, but the guitars are what make this song awesome! Great work, Mike...
