The Replacements were my favorite band until they started putting out this pop crap. "Please to Meet Me" was their last great record. Even their older ballads (ie. "Hardly Wait") had more scrotal gusto than this gunk. I'll take Tommy Stinson on "Chinese Democracy" over this shit any day of the week.

@dashofchutmeg No, you're thinking of Josh Freese, who toured with Paul in the early '90s when he was only ~20 yrs old. Incredible drummer, even at that age. Steve Foley is in this video and was with the 'mats for the final tour. He was a local drummer they knew from MPLS and the story goes that they hired him to replace Mars because he was the first guy who walked into the bar.
