Is this from 1985 or 1987 in either case I did not hear it back then. Great song.

I remember hanging out with my friends downtown and we would hear this on the radio, and we would sneak vodka and pour it in to our Orange Julis and we were drunk, what fun times in the 80's.

I used to sing "Kiss me on the bust". Then I developed a magnificent bosom... (Maybe I jinxed myself? Hmm).

Has anyone ever listened to this song without thinking it would be way funnier to replace the word "bus" with the word "butt"?

I know, right? This song is so awesome, the perfect mix of rawness, emotion, and melody. I wonder why Tim was so unsuccessful when it was released in 1985.

Hard to believe they were considered "too alternative" for mainstream play -- this song is simple heartfelt pop

The only question I always had...28? 18? 12? 6? 4? 17? which bus? Love you Paul....I lived this song when I was 15 and I'll never forget....XXOO

Even though this song is from 1985, it still sounds fresh and energetic today. Truly a timeless classic.

So, has anybody figured out the album art?

Not to mention adding Pat Smear in his group.

Where do you get off calling Kurt Cobain a rat? Kurt gave way more credit than he needed to give to his idols, if you read his journals, saw Nirvana Unplugged w/ Meat Puppets. Promoting Daniel Johnston. That's all Kurt did was give credit.

One of these guys just had a stoke recently. Awesome song. That rat Cobain loved this group but would not give them credit.
