What a beautiful song. This was back when music really mattered. Long live the Mats.

I synced a bunch of my roomate's albums to my iPod last night.. I put it on shuffle, and this started playing. It almost made me cry out out of pure joy. When I got home I skipped my usual routine and learned how to play it.

The Mats, legends, from a time when American music was stil relevant. Saw them 3 times in England back in the day, The Mean Fiddler gig one of the best gigs I've ever seen.

growing up in Minneapolis, The Replacements were the BEST bar band ever! Husker Du, Soul Asylum, and The Replacements, - great decade for the Twin Cities

@wovokanarchy As somebody born in the late 80s who was 1st exposed to the replacements with let it be, i think these later albums really show that they're pretty versatile. Obviously, yes, on their other albums they certainly had variety, but I think that later tracks like this one show another dimension. Maybe this opinion is only one that a casual fan like myself would have, but I definitely appreciate the chance to hear something like Gary's Got a Boner and then this one after the other.

Judging by the last 2 "Replacements" albums. I'm glad the Mats broke up. Imagine Led Zepplin, Oasis, or Pink Floyd changing their entire sound just so they could make the "Top 40" on A.M radio. Sad....

Awsome band Awsome song. I will never understand why this band never became very popular. When this album came out the airwaves were flooded with the sounds of hairbands motley crue poison etc. This music was much better all that.
