The Stone of Skone, stolen by Edward the first of England during his invasion of Scotland in I believe 1297, was part of the coranation chair the King of England sits upon. In 1950 four students from Glasgow repatrioted the Stone during Christmas time and brought it back to Scotland.The four were arrested and never charged and the stone returned to England. It has returned to Scotland "on loan" from the English.12 years ago
