Sad fact that half the people in this video were Brown Bread within a couple of years of this video being made. R.I.P. Pete Farndon & James Honeyman-Scott.

Six people don't like this!? Man, here we go again- you must not have any soul or heart beat if you can't feel the way this song can move you!

Unbelievable! Even today, this blows my mind watching and listening to the chemistry that these four people had in a room. This is/was The Pretenders band...every other line-up was an imitation of this band. One of the saddest stories in all of rock history. One can only imagine what might have been if James Honeyman Scott and lived and carried on. Too bad Pete was so screwed up as well, only to die the next year from, yet another, drug overdose. Horrible ending...Great music.

My favourite ever Valentines Day song. From 1981...I feel old. Great song, though!

Am I the only one that gets pissed off when I see talent wasted by drugs or suicide? Don't get me wrong- love seeing the old videos, hearing the music, but MOST of us don't have such talent, and yet we slog through, thanks be to God, and enjoy enough of life to realize it's a gift. Then there are talented people who just throw it all away at the apex of their career.

Saw them live at Cole Field House in MD back in winter '81. Bloody fantastic. Still are.

What an amazing rock classic this is. Sounds just as good now as it did when it was new!
