Kaye Krebs of the Pixies wrote this emotional ballad when she was 14, along with another song "Our Love", for her boyfriend. He eventually became her husband. It's a lovely song that was never released until its inclusion on a Pixies compilation CD. I was privileged to be the first one, outside of close friends, to hear it earlier when Kaye sent me a personal CD of then-unreleased recordings. I like the song a lot!

Wow, "LIMEPOP", interesting connection here! Totally cool of Kaye Krebs to share their CD compilation with you! I wonder what kept this trio simply as "regional" (aside from Birthday Party which peeked into the Top 40)? I wonder why they didn't have a stronger foothold on the national charts (?!)
