A studio take of the famed Move and later ELO song, this is from the remaster of the Message From The Country album.

Not much else to say really...I did enjoy the somewhat lengthy booklet included with the CD. Did you know the original title for this song was "Look Out Baby, There's A Plane Comin'"? You can hear Roy say that line right near the end of the song!

I always loved this version. The ELO version isn't quite as good IMO. This is a bit more raw.

Slightly better than the ELO version, imo. Isn't this one of the outtakes from a BBC studio session?

i rated them as equals ..... Beatles v Move , the world said Beatles,,,,,,,, I still say the Move Macca Lennon = genius,,,,,,,,, Wood + Lynn.... better ! what say you ?

And Al, so was Roy Wood. Like Lennon and McCartney, both too talented to work together long term. The Move were waaaaaay ahead of their time.

I still like this version (the original group) best!
