Another tidbit, early on, according to Davy, Davy was living with Mike and Mike's family until he was on his feet. He believed Mike had all the attributes to be a great leading man in Hollywood.

brokedownsystem, Mike was and still is my favorite. Hes a fantastic songwriter and versatile musician. This video he and Peter looked like they were having fun. I read he and Peter knew each other before the Monkees, not well, but hung out at a club, the Troubadour. Little tidbit, that beautiful guitar Mike is playing was stolen years ago. So was the brown Gretsch he played in earlier episodes. The brown was a six string he had custom made into a 12 string.

I can't believe Davy's gone.Part of my childhood is gone forever.I saw Micky at the Big E Fair in Springfield Massachusetts a few years ago.He was really funny as usual and performed with his sister.Micky was very gracious and patient with us fans.He signed my Monkees anthology CD.I'm a DJ from Boston who does a 60s show Lost And Found.I told Micky that he was one of the most underrated singers of the 60s.He said "Thank You"What a great guy.Ernie "the K."This song was written by Neil Diamond..

I love these guys. Mike is my favorite but Peter always has a great smile and looked like he was having fun with the music. All four very talented guys. Rest in peace, Davy.

"Look Out (Here Comes Tomorrow)"Look out, here comes tomorrow,That's when I'll have to choose. How I wish I could borrow,Someone else's shoes.Mary, oh what a sweet girl,Lips like strawberry pie.Sandra, the long hair and pig tails,Can't make up my mind.I see all kinds of sorrow,Wish I only loved one.Look out, here comes tomorrow,Oh how I wish tomorrow would never comeTold them both that I loved them,Said it, and it was true. But I can't have both of themDon't know what to do.I see all kinds of sorrow,Wish I only loved one.Look out, here comes tomorrow,Oh how I wish tomorrow would never come[Instrumental]I see all kinds of sorrow,Wish I only loved one.Look out, here comes tomorrow,Oh how I wish tomorrow would never come
