I got to see them live on the tour for this album, and they were amazing! The Metallica cover was a definite mistake...10 years ago

I sickens me how little credit and appreciation Die Krupps get. They were Industrial masters. I blame that absolutely fucking horrible Metallica cover album they did for dooming them to be so underrated, if not outright hated. I'm sure that was a lot of people's introduction to this band, and if so, I can't blame those listeners for not giving Die Krupps more of a chance. Sad story. Their other stuff, especially "Odyssey of the Mind", was as bad-ass as any of the other Industrial Metal pioneers.13 years ago
