Yes, I have similar recollections of having to save up my Cash back then and really, really think about which Album I should 'invest' in :D What can I say, it made me a more serious Listener :D I think I am fairly proud of my Younger Self too - I had pretty good taste as a Kid :D A similar Memory: back in 1998/9 I was somewhere in London and was walking down some Metal-Stairs (no less :) ) and in front of me was a Guy who was wearing a DK Tshirt - I had to commend him on the spot! :D :D

LOL that is some serious effort! This is definitely one of those albums that still sounds fresh today - I don't know why they remixed it because I still think this original sounds far better.

1996: it took me 7 months to buy this cd.... back than, i needed to save my spare pocket money. 7 months are a bloody lifetime for a 14 year old... today, i'm pretty proud of my younger me ;-) 2012: my children are 4 and 2 years old... hopefully, in 10 more years, when they ask me what kind of music i've been listening to when i was their age, we'll listen to this cd together.
