OMG....this is just awful....I have the original from when they first came out and it was a shorter more powerful piece..being that her voice could cut through steel. I have every CD/Cassette/Vinyl they ever put out. It brings me to tears every time I spin it..I don't know why. Maybe it's the sentiment. I have no reason why they destroyed all their proceeds and material. I'm totally heartbroken...hey guys...the next time you're in Florida...look for me. I'll have big white headphones on and I'll be swaying to some trance...may be you? May be not....<3

As far as I remember , in Illuminatus! there's the ELF (Erisian Liberation Front)...

Clint Drake

It stands for Kentucky Liberation Front

im not sure, but i would imagine klf means "kallisti liberation front" - a nutty conspiracy group from the novel "illuminatus!" by robert shaw and robert anton wilson - they draw a lot of references from that novel in their videos - for example "justified ancients of muu-muu" - another group

I was just having a laugh, I know they were semi-officially Kopyright Liberation Front and for good reason, - probably why they deleted their entire music catalogue for fear of losing all their doh in lawsuits. Fair enough on the Kentucky never heard that one before.

You do know they were also alleged to be the "Kopyright liberation Front" which makes more sense, however in an interview Cauty and Drummond claimed it stood for "Kentucky Liberation Front" saying it was a critique of how they saw America. Whatevs

I'm absolutely stunned. Are you sure. If I had any post of significance in Israel, I wouldv'e gone out of my way to at least see it was banned there. I'm checking your stats. If that's the case, than secular Israelites who like Abba, and Grease are involved in it's distribution. I'm glad but that amazes me, that in all the places, it would be released there. That proves KLF were masterminds in there PROPAGANDA. It had me hooked.....

"For the foreseeable future, there will be no further record releases from any past, present or future name attached to our activities." Taken fr. KLF Communcations News release...May 1992.

I love remixes, mashups, and sampling....but profiteers and old cronies will not want to give up the control, the copyright, or the freedom to sample. If they had there way DeeJays would be imprisoned and music Producers would be incarcerated......and anyone on YouTube who tries to remix or put out a video with their own intrepretive pics would face heavy fines if not jail time. That takes away from the music and creativity. Let KLF be and go and pull out your vintage Bing Crosby album!!!!

@ChicoTorera It was merely a propaganda ploy to get people to sit up and take notice. They do have a message but it has to do with the fact they (the KLF) are not happy with the music business today (hence the excessive sampling). I may not hit it on the nail exactly; but it has to do with commercialism, profit, and copyright limitations which is evident on YouTube. (It make sense but it takes away from the creativity).

They even at the top of their success turned down Arista's offer to do a Maxi-Disc remix of Whitney Joins the Jams. They refused but did negotiate to do one commercial mainstream album with them, which of course was the successful "White Room''. And then suddenly they vanished (K Foundation).

@3000ST1 No music was officially released under the K-Foundation. That was merely a propaganda ploy to raise awareness (publicity) in what was to be the scandalous buring of a a Million pounds. It was meant to keep them in the footnotes of musical history. You as a rational individual would assume a Foundation was something good. But alas not in KLF's case. Propaganda 101.

This remix is of a very high standard, one of the best hommages to one of the most daring and influencial artists of the 80's/90's - Nail hit on head :)
