If you think this is shit, you are kinda saying the song itself is shit. This is a stripped-back version with just the chords and the vocal sung by a guy with a nice voice. What the fuck is there to dislike about it? Just because it isn't the original doesn't make it shit.

The Killers covering the Smiths? My cup runneth over.

Where is the bass and drums? It's just not the same when you strip it completely down unless you have Morrissey's vocals. Which he clearly doesn't. Ugh.

what I don't think people understand that on the Battle Born tour, they did a location-specific cover like this at almost every concert. they were never serious, full-fledged covers, just little takes that would segway from Dustland Fairytale to the closing of the set. just little takes to pay homage to their favorite musicians from a local spot

I dislike almost all covers of this song... It's really a testament to how awesome The Smith's were. But if I had to pick a band that did a cover of this song semi-justice.. I would say it's the version from the Ocean Blue.

This is somewhere South of mediocre. Very weak performance.

Well with all Art fans rarely pin only their colours to the mast of the end product. You want to know a bit about the artist, what they stand for and decide if that's compatible with your own persona - take Gary Glitter for example - do you think his songs were played a) more b) the same or c) less, after it came out that he was a beast? Now I'm not saying peodophiles and Mormons are in the same ball park, but I'm hoping you catch me drift??? Oui?

I used to quite like The Killers- Good at festivals etc- then I found out that the singer is a Mormon. Can't take them seriously any more. Don't get me wrong, he wouldn't have been top of my 'potential babysitters' list before, but the Book of Mormon thing is complete lunacy

The original is far superior, but this isn't as bad as some of you are pretending.

SI, pero La voz de Morrisey le da un toque mas especial a esta canción, pero es un buen cover este.

Terrible? How is it "terrible"? Sure, it is not The Smiths, but it's hardly terrible
