what I don't think people understand that on the Battle Born tour, they did a location-specific cover like this at almost every concert. they were never serious, full-fledged covers, just little takes that would segway from Dustland Fairytale to the closing of the set. just little takes to pay homage to their favorite musicians from a local spot

I dislike almost all covers of this song... It's really a testament to how awesome The Smith's were. But if I had to pick a band that did a cover of this song semi-justice.. I would say it's the version from the Ocean Blue.

I used to quite like The Killers- Good at festivals etc- then I found out that the singer is a Mormon. Can't take them seriously any more. Don't get me wrong, he wouldn't have been top of my 'potential babysitters' list before, but the Book of Mormon thing is complete lunacy
