One of my most favourite Mike and The Mechanic songs...and that is a difficult thing to say. Absolutely EVERYTHING from them is just truly wonderful. The lyrics of songs such as this can bring your heart to crying and aching...the understanding in their lyrics of all their emotional songs is just so on the very point of all that makes us who we are. The beauty of this song,for me,is in that it is sung in recognition of the emotion,tenderness and ever-lasting after-glow that has prompted a song needing to express the experience ....it has been far more than a mere momentary,one-night stand type of thing. In other words....every woman's dream of what she hopes a man can honestly feel....love,tenderness,caring.......you know,being human. ( I wonder.... Does this mean that the internet will genuinely not finally win??!!)Beautiful beyond words....they have all been sung here. K x

There's a Japanese movie called "Ugetsu" it's on utube. A man that has an affair with a ghost. I think it is a theme running thru this music like in "Ugetsu." A Buddhist priest brings him into confronting the ghost. 4 characters & all experience radical torment.
