Why so ANGRY-- They played just musical intro/finale of many songs to swerve into the lead of another that was the JELLY back then. Calm down and just tell Peeps & U also : just listen to the MUSIC. Keep Hope Alive

Hahah for what? I know that is the LP version BUT...BUT at this concert the part I shared is ALL OF THE SONG THEY PERFORMED!!! Just like I told the other guy, In the video the guys played "What a Fool Believes" into where this clip begins... Since I didn't want to bury Hangman in the middle I edited the clip to start with Hangman..... Now hit the road.....

According to the official DB Tour archive, the only two times they have performed in Santa Barbara during the 1980's were: October 18, 1980 at the Santa Barbara County Bowl August 15, 1981 at the UCSB Amphitheater This surely has to be the concert on the UCSB campus.

The tricky part for me is..do you list the concert date or the dvd release. So that's probably why you're having trouble pin-pointing the year...

BTW, thanks for putting this up, its still great to hear the live version of this. I have been trying to get my hands on this DVD for a while. Sometimes I see clips from it listed as "'81 Live" and sometimes as "Live 82". Both appear to be at the campus of the University of Santa Barbara, so I'm not sure if there were two different concerts or only one. If its two, than everyone appears to be wearing EXACTLY the same clothes!!!

OK, in that case, they must have only played the finale of "I Cheat the Hangman" in that concert, because I have "Stampede" on vinyl. Its track 2 on side 2 and its over 6½ minutes long, and runs to two verses, two choruses and a reprise before the finale starts at 4 min 28 sec into the song. Check it out v=u7EZv5GsGzs
