Tapping easier on a real guitar? Yea, if you were only tapping on one or two strings, the same way all the time. A few examples from the top of my head of songs with very technical tapping would be Atlas Novus, Zyglrox, CAFO and The Levitated. Covering up a mistake is far more difficult than one can imagine, especially when you're playing technical songs that have their own flow. Mistakes breaking that flow will destroy your play. Try covering up a mistake during Atlas Novus. I dare you.

I have played guitar hero and all it takes is a little time and its not that hard but I have also played guitar for over 7 years and know for a fact that you dont just go tapping (good) at once, it takes a lot of practice and even then most people make it sound bad
