that's funny, i had this album (incredible shrinking dickies), on a tape with buzzcocks' singles going steady on the other, which is how i listened to the bands for years. dickies are generally faster. the uk/us different vibes stand out too. the 'cocks album was too long (the end got cut off) so i later made a tape that had DK "fresh fruit for rotting vegetables" on it... which was faster still than the dickies.

mt dad has a tape with the buzzcocks on one side and the dickies on the other, theyy do sound similiar although the lyrics and messages r very different
