Did Steve Earle plagiarize this song when he wrote "I Aint Ever Satisfied"?

God, just so freakin' good. California country at it's absolute best, it's scary to think this came out in 1988 and sounds fresher, cleaner, and frankly better than a lot of the stuff I hear on modern country radio.

If this video brings a few Desert Rose fans to know Nick Lowe, that's a good thing. Nick Lowe wrote "What's so funny about Peace Love and Understanding" for Elvis Costello, "Cruel to be Kind", performed "I knew the Bride..." with Dave Edmunds, and played some delicious bass on John Hiatt's "Bring The Family" alongside Jim Keltner and Ry Cooder. Wonderful guy and he's still evolving as a musician.
