I think this new stuff is brilliant and nothing makes me laugh more than seeing comments like...oh, it sounds like REM or it sounds like Van Morrison. What song doesn't sound at least a little like some other song? Besides that they have always acknowleged a REM influence. I cannot wait to see them in Portland in March.
