We named our son Avery in response to this song. I think it beautifully captures a parents love for their child. On one hand they have to let him go and be part of the world, to rail against it and find his part in it, but to them he will forever be the boy he's always been. I remember playing this song on the way back from the hospital when he was born and it moved me to tears. Perfect.
