This is the first song I ever heard, when I was a newborn and my precious 13-year-old brother would rock me and sing this. Our dad had just been killed in an auto accident and we five kids were barely surviving. My sweet brother was always like a rock, and I grew up always associating this song with him. He passed away two months ago at age 88.

Thanks for someone finally posting the great harmony and signature mellow sound of the mando and guitar with the Blue Sky Boys! Some of the songs are kind of dark, but look at when they were performing. Wade Mainer died at age 105. He sold his banjo at age 100 saying he was retiring. That Gibson banjo had been played for FDR in the white house. I hope to see more pre war blue grass, blues and jazz posted. Thanks again!
