Just for a laugh, listen to Olivia Newton-John singing this song. What a travesty. She had no business even attempting this deceptively simple old folk tune. Would love to have heard Emmy Lou Harris, however.

Best version ever , even from the 1927 one , even with all the respect for the 27's one , but this vocal are killers , they nailed it . Paper Moon master piece to join the two other comments .

The first time I ever heard this song was in the movie "Paper Moon" But later on when I finally heard it uninterupted I was in shock! I just love the romance indeed!
