The one time a 'Spotify recommends for you..' has been correct. And because of the awesomeness of The Blue Nile I forgive it for all the rubbish it tried to make me listen to.

Pity I don't like the piano sound and some mixing choice. But despite of this..still a.. well..a Blue Nile song. Beautifull.

This is a superb track. The Comfortably Numb of the Nile. Soars indeed

Thanks for sharing. Recently discovered these guys. Without doubt the most underrated and overlooked bands - not of a particular genre or era. But one of the most underrated and overlooked bands of all time.

This is so beautiful, the emotions Paul expresses grab you by the throat and won't let go until the end of the song.

"high" is the one blue nile album that doesn't quite do it for me as much as the others...not that it isn't still great. it just doesn't feel like as much wall-to-wall greatness as the others. but this song...man. if i could only play one song as litmus test for someone new to the nile, this might be it. there's that wonderfully fractured way paul buchanan has of playing the guitar, the synths that somehow never sound dated, and that voice. i wish the fadeout lasted a lot longer.
