my ABSOLUTE favorite cover of Robert Pete Williams song, that Captain Beefheart changed forever and TBKeys changed it again, but it takes after the Captain quite a bit. "Her Eyes Are A Blue Million Miles", is another Capt. Beefheart cover by these boys and damn! I'll try to find it. I own it, and Revolution Warner Sound keeps it from getting uploaded. They threaten me if I try to upload anything, I understand... we all gotta eat! Cheers!

THis song is very addicting to me as many of their songs are... I feel the same way about Jack White/Son House's "Death Letter". Those 2, actually 4 artist, those 2 songs... Unbeatable to me! This is a Capt Beefheart cover... AMAZING ONE! ...since 1942, I tell you Mr. Ugly "he didn't look like you!" Badass man!

@lilcoz08 Bad, bad! Pandora!. This didn't come up on my "white stripes" station. I could have been listening to these guys a year ago? Dam.

Not bad. The original is good, Beefheart's is an inspired reworking, and this is basically a simplified, louder version of the Beefheart version - they divide it up into sections exactly the way Beefheart did, but they don't have the complex cross-rhythms. Nice though.

this is damn great. Robert Pete William's is more real and harrowing because he actually had grown ugly

@marbel69 every original blues version is superior to the Black Keys cover of it... a rhythm setion is for pussies

Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band makse this sound 10 times as sincere! :) The RAW sound, and the whacky drumbreak signature is awesome!! Respect for covering Beefheart though, keep the legend alive!
