When they played this song live (YouTube videos) they cut the guitars off on the G flat 5 major 7th, but it sounds like 3 variations of that chord on the recording. It may be George playing these "signature riffs," but Paul wrote their famous intros (riffs) for their recordings (Day Tripper, Ticket To Ride, Paperback,,etc.). It's no new secret that Paul played guitar with John and George on many tracks, plus the addition of multi-track "stacking" of instruments and vocals became apparent, which enriched the mix.

This guitar track contains no less than 4 guitars : 1) George's distinctive 12-string riff 2) John's rhythm guitar, strumming all the way through 3) Probably John's overdubbed single notes in the low register (A, Bm, E) 4) Probably Paul playing the link phrase between bridges and verses, plus the little solos at the end. Pretty heavy !
