The last 4 songs are probably the best and strongest of their latest album. It was a decent effort. Yeah, the lawsuits and all that crap. Carl was great but Brian was the one who wrote most of the memorable songs. I think Brian's best songs were the ones he co-wrote with Gary Usher, Tony Asher and Van Dyke Parks. Mike wrote some good era type of songs and most of his lyrics were always retro or about the beach, hot dogs, caramel corn, cotton candy and amusement parks. Brian wanted better lyrics.

I love to watch this video of the Beach Boys reuniting together for their 50th ~ I love the clip of them by the ocean : ) They still sound so Amazing and their voices has not changed that much ~ They are All so Cool : ) I like the when Al is giving Brian a bite of something on his spoon : ) I love the part when David is playing 409 on his guitar and Mike singing : ) I hope this is not the end of them coming together for one last time : ( I Love the Beach Boys very much : ) God bless them!! xxx

Seriously? Brian and Mike can't stand each other. The new CD sounds pretty, is well-packaged and promoted, but it's not the real Beach Boys. No Carl, no Dennis, and lots of "sweetening" added to the songs...I find it to be really sad. The Beach Boys died with Carl.
