I can sort of see what you are saying but if you hadn't realised most of the song lyrics are cliché's, funny how you pick up on just that one lyric. I don't see how it can ruin the feeling when the whole song is practically a cliche, called 'isnt it time'. I regret to inform you, your going crazy. The Beach Boys are old school to the core, they dont need to edit their voices, they harmonize naturally. I do know what you mean though, it does sound a little edited, and it probably has been edited but only fractionally.11 years ago

To me, this song is about an old couple in thier 70s that has been through life together, and they're remembering the times they had together. Great song...except the lyric "how about doing it just like yesterday" is a terrible lyric to have, ruins the feeling. I wish they made the chorus a bit more poetic and less cliche! Honestly, i'm a harsh critic but i like this song otherwise11 years ago
