Echoe previous comments, this is the best track on the cd by far. Good old fashioned Beach Boys song with the most amazing harmonies this generation will ever hear. They may not know it yet, but there is no-one to follow this beautiful music. I'm so priviliged to have heard their music. Paul in England.

Whether they are using autotune or not doesn't bother me, their entire career was without it and they're all 70 now so, y'know. However, is it definite they are using it? People can speculate all they want, but the Beach Boy's have always had amazing voices and even on Pet Sounds sometimes sounded like machines the performance was so perfect. I can tell autotune when it's abused, like 99.99% of the trash on the radio these days, but I don't know what to listen for here.

Surely not. Brian Wilson was a great admirer of the rap music. /watch?v=Sz0SnpN_O00

Though it's a hint of overproduction in the picture, talking about the auto tune used to make this record, I think that this is probably (really, really) the best song on the album "That's why God made the radio". The singing made by Alan and the other guys who sings on this one, is absolutely remarkable. Really "wonderful" music. K.A.Holter. P.S.I listened to this album a couple of times on our 3000 miles road trip to the land of the midnight sun last summer, and the nature and music blended.

they're officially my favorite band of all the time.. Queen was, but The Beach Boys with this album beated them to fill the top of my own list.. i hope they keep making music and don't care about the people of this generation who base music on beiber and crap.. don't stop don't die don't kill us :) > cheers from Morocco <3

Irrespective of the Autotune aspect, this is another finely crafted song from a masterful collection. Brian Wilson is a musical genius, and The Boys have produced the Best album I've heard in years. Why look for negatives in such a positive piece of work? However this record was made, it's truly magical music from start to finish.

i don't think they used it to be hip either, but i don't see why they did it. i don't expect them to sound exactly the same as when they were young, but they can obviously sing these songs without auto tune. it destroys the vocals and takes away any emotion or human quality and makes them sound like all the shitty modern pop records. i know they can sing these songs fine, cos they performed them live. you'd think they'd want things to at least sound natural

i dont think they used it to be "hip", you have to understand the fact that these guys are around there 70's, you cant expect them to sound like they sounded in the 60's

This is a Beach Boys record, why the fuck did they use auto tune!?!?!?! it's disturbing and takes away from the emotion. You can tell this is a nice composition, but the vocals were destroyed :(

A little bit of bossa nova at the very end...

I totally agree with you. If you listen to Al' s album "Postcard from California" there' s no Autotune there and his voice is INCREDIBLE. Only Brian needs it.

This is an incredible song from this fantastic BB album. Reminds me of Pet Sounds and the "good old days" ;) Had the pleasure to see BB in concert on the first of august here in Aarhus, Denmark. Outdoor, perfect warm weather and a great show where Beach Boys in their original cast among others with Bruce Johnston and of course Brian Wilson performed 47 songs from the past ... It was fun, fun, fun, and wouldn't it be nice if they did it again. Well, don't worry baby, getcha back :)
