Amazing trip down memory lane - this song. So glad to have found this version without all the paisley psychedelics and hippie chicks. I remember listening to this in the early 70s. Man, it was a different time. It was the peace and love generation & I was just a kid - no more than 10. My parents were young and War-ing with each other. My brothers were teenagers beginning their dabble with drugs. It was a tumultuous time in and out of our house. These old songs really take me back and stir up emotions. Recollections flash through my mind that I haven't thought of since they happened. All of those people who were my whole life then - have passed on now. God bless them. Amazing.... Who knew? This is one of the soundtracks of my life.
