I'm a radioman in Minnesota, Gen-X in age. So, this is my folks stuff that I grew up with--and I love it! I still hear names like WABC, WLS, and I am awed. Thanks, bro'

Mary Jane to wake up and Valium to go to sleep -- kinda like they are advertising today -- only it's something else to wake up to -- my Aunt took Valium once her husband passed away.  Sad really but that's reality.  We as a society are hooked on drugs and Mary Jane shouldn't even be classified as a Schedule 1 drug it has healing properties -- Mary Jane was the drug of choice in the 60s and today -- baby boomers unite!

Just want to say Thank You! I love so many songs you share. They bring back sooooo many memories which is exactly what they were meant to do. Again, thank you!

I was 13, freshman year of high school, when this came out. Lord this is going to sound SO stupid . . . but I thought that adult romantic problems were a combination of songs like this and . . . God forgive me . . . The Mary Tyler Moore Show! lmao I couldn't wait to grow up and have such mature problems. Then those problems showed up, and there was nothing so painful. But I survived. And songs like this, and TV shows like that, have come to symbolize my innocence and naivete. And I can't think of any better symbols. Because there isn't a whole helluva lot that's innocent anymore. God Bless the 1970's!
