It is always nice to hear Johnny's voice on a cover of a classic. The Bobby Bare and Tom T. Hall versions are probably the country standards for this tune. The Avett Brothers take, with banjo and cello is great and the Solomon Burke version has a great slant on the lyric. But man, there is something about Johnny Cash. And, there is something about Memphis, Beall Street and Sun Records to his legend. Rosanne is no slouch either, Brilliant post. Plus I love the picture of the two of them.
