This was most likely down with a video editing system that is not used much anymore, unless you edit with actually video tape. This song came out in 1996 I believe, a few years before video software was the norm. We had a machine while I was in college that could edit video tape. You used a knob to get the precise location point you wanted on the tape and transferred the results from all the tapes you wanted to edit to a master tape. It was a tedious process. Video software is way better.
