Loath though I am to stoop to comment on here, I must say something about this - it seems to me that if you employ the techniques and tropes of the very thing that you are critiquing - in this case the jelly like nature of modern consumerisms, you are unable to transcend it, and inevitably become it. No. Although, it seems like it's some sort of test just to see if ppl would buy it,lol! I bet if Kanye West or Jay-Z did something like this it would be a hit. It just doesn't feel sincere to me, as if it were just cobbled together as a joke to see how many ppl will say "omg, this is, like, totally genius or something... like, totally, you know?" Even though he has a couple good songs, I'm not sure why he'd pick this one. Maybe it's a tribute to Kim Fowley. Or maybe he just didn't know which one would be the next video & pulled the title out of a hat. I'd have to ask him about it I guess, but I just don't feel it personally!
