Oak cliff, Early morning D. J. joked about two cops who investigating a late night crowd in the streets of Oak Cliff and were later hospitalized and no arrest were made.Time for the official announcement from the chief of police, No longer would the police pa trol this part of Dallas in a normal way. They would go in in force in case of emergency! Wait for the punch line, There is none. It was not a joke.

Like EVH said..."Yeah, anyone can play like I do....but I composed it!"T-Bone, your legacy lives on, maybe someday we'll meet but until then, it is my honor to have this song be the first one I ever perform live...when I am worthy.

The title is wrong. T-Bone Walker did not write Stormy Monday Blues, Earl Hines did. The name of this song, which T-Bone Walker did write, is Call it Stormy Monday (but Tuesday is just as bad.) But this is one of my favorite songs.

Mr. Thibeaux Walker, an artist from the Oak Cliff section of Dallas, Texas doing a blues standard which he wrote. Can you imagine how it would feel to know you created something that has brought so much joy to people all over the world? Wow, pretty heady stuff. #Blues

This solo can rival Duane's and Dickey's solos on Fillmore, such gracious arpeggios!

When I was 16-17 a fellow I worked with in a textile mill in southern Ontario used to go over to Buffalo N Y back in 1962-3 and go to a bar called the Little Paris Cafe. That was the first time I heard the blues. It was Stormy Monday. I have been hooked ever since.
