Sylvia - The Matador (1981) Country video free download

Before country beauty Sylvia hit it big with "Nobody" and the album "Sylvia" in 1982 - peaking at # 1 on the country charts and receiving a gold record - she released her debut "Drifter" in 1981. The highlight for me on this record - beside the # 1 title track - is without a doubt "Matador" which hit # 7 on the country charts. A wonderful blend of country, pop and a fine disco beat. A kitschy, glitzy affair with wonderful melancholic lyrics.

I met her back in 1987 in San Antonio. Even though I love her music, she seemed to be stuck up to me.
