i've loved these guys since i saw the world premiere for 'seven" on 120 when i was 14....this was my favorite off lp2 (the pink album)..i still listen to them at least once a week at some point, i'm a drummer, and i pretty much learned to play by strapping on the headphones and trying to play diary and lp2...good times

actually, the band wasn't really broken up completely. the instrumentals were recorded when the band was still together. the vocals were recorded ~a year later after the singer converted to christianity. he changed some of the lyrics.

i like these types of songs/bands. You see a lot of popular music repeating its self, but when i hear this i'm not discouraged that there is creativity left rather then ending. Although the Pink Album was made with little effort on behalf of the band (because they broke up during it), they don't realize that they're feelings still rubbed off on the songs they made.
