and them you get into the part of time travel that is really confusing and yet really interesting. you already have altered history but that happened in another timeline by many it is theorised that messing with things that already happened branches off another timeline which will ultimately come to an end at the exact moment the tapering was done.

I'm performing a few rags for a recital I'm having, and this wasn't one I selected, and I'm upset I didn't know of it! Pineapple Rag, Solace, and Maple Leaf Rag are my three, but I really enjoy this. Maybe next I'll do The Entertainer, Peacherine Rag, and this.

They do not. Listen closely, and find ones that are played a little more slowly. They have the AABBACCDD structure in common (with a couple of exceptions) but each piece is distinctive. Listen again.

Not that it's an entirely relevant conversational piece, but: Going back in time itself, no matter how few people saw you, or how careful you were not to step on butterflies, would change time itself. The very existence of particles in a place and time changes history. In other words, because your particles existed at that time period instead of your own, you've created an alternate timeline. The change may be negligible, or it could be massive. Hooray for Quantum Mechanics! ...Back to Joplin.

Scott Joplin (1867-1917). Wonderful music, but quite obviously NOT played by Joplin himself (unfortunately he didn't live long enough to ever experience such a recording quality). It's not Marvin Hamlisch, either (he'd have played it slower), so: WHO IS THIS WONDERFUL PIANO ARTIST, PLEASE???
