Listening to this through headphones is a treat. Chuck and Ricky play very different styles of bass, and they fit together well in this song. Chuck plays with a pick, and that provides a very distinctive thump. Ricky plays with his fingers, which is more fluid. I have never heard two basses used more effectively. In fact, Ricky used to play guitar on this song. Bravo, Ricky and Chuck!

In case anyone is wondering. Chuck Panozzo only plays a few songs with the band and only some of their tour dates at that. He has serious health issues and is unable to perform full sets night after night. He and JY are the ONLY remaining founding members. He shares the stage with them more out of respect than anything else. So when you say he doesn't have it, you may be right from a technical standpoint. But unlike those who disparage him (RLR), the band treats him with love and respect.

RLR, Lets see you get up on stage at age 61 and play day in and day out. I doubt you can do that. Mr Shaw does not need the money. He has been doing this for over 40+ years. Your just plain jealous. And no this DOES NOT BLOW..but you might.

Sorry to say this, but THIS BLOWS. It is pathetic to see all these bands running the oldies circuit. Flame what you want, it looks lameass and pathetic. Especially Shaw, a lot of bullshit criticizing Styx and their schmaltzy ballads, and yet he´s here when the money runs out. And why the fuck do they need two bass players? Panozzo hasn´t got it any more and needs someone to cover for him? It is not like he plays Jaco´s basslines. What a crappy show, for fucks sake.
