From an obscure 45 put out by the Admiral Corporation (the TV maker) in 1955. Song is from the movie Daddy Long Legs (where it was sung by Fred Astaire). Stuart Foster was a band singer with Tommy Dorsey, Guy Lombardo and many others in the 40's.

From ROGHARM I am Stuart's biggest fan. Have tapes I recorded from CBS RADIO NETWORK and local WCBS special broadcasts with the CBS ORCHESTRA with Alfredo Antonni. I Have bought his songs with the Lou sisters and Ina Rae Hutton. What happened to Stuart's son, is he a singer and still living. I wish more radio shows with Stuart singing would be posted. I have hours but cannot post on UTUBE do not know how. Live in New York City. can you email me?

From ROGHARM when I worked, I met a gentleman named OLIVER WILSON who told me that he with Stuart and his family sharing a house in ollywood. Oliver Wilson told me he was a music copyist and later worked for The Jack Sterling Show wakeup show on WCBS radio here where I live New York City. Do you/did you know Oliver Wilson? What kind of job does Stuart's son -Tamar have, is he involved in entertainment? Met Oliver Wilson around 1972 or 3 just remembered. I think he was brorn in 1920.AdviseThankx

It's great to read all this! I always enjoyed his work with Tommy Dorsey's orchestra and wondered what his career was like afterward. What a shame he died so early! He was still in great voice in the late 50s!

He was my Uncle, Mothers little brother, he passed way to early in a car accident. Bubbles was / is my aunt. I haven't spoken with her in decades... Hope she's doing well. Tamer Aswad (his real name) has three brothers & a sister (Mom) they are all still alive & close. I love reading all this about my sweat hearted Uncle Tamer. I was only 10 or so when he passed.

"Stuart Foster was a distant cousin and we were both from Binghamton, NY. I followed his career through all the stages and especially on the radio programs for many years. I acquired many of the radio programs on cassettes from "Radio Yesteryear". These yielded thirty two numbers which I converted to CD's. It would be nice to compare notes and chat about what we each have. "
