One of the few acts who back in those days, on those types of shows could actually bring it; by not faking it via lip syncing and faking their performances. The cat's (especially Brian), could not only play the hell out of their instruments phenomenally well live but their vocals were also always spot on live as well! As an entertainer myself, I get it that there is a certain talent and creativity to rap and hip hop styles of music. But let's face it you just can't beat the raw talent that it takes to not only play an instrument extremely well, but to also sing as amazingly well at the same time!!
