Great Steve, emerging his 1967 original with the Chicago-cover of 1969, great version, already the original had a lot of drive, but this one is a thunderstorm !!!! Thx to the horns and the orchestra it jumps in another dimension...the discussion who's the best vocalist or whatsoever is so useless , the more important question is what will remain....he wrote , sung, performed so many songs, played so many instruments in 50 years, some will never disappear..........a humble und underrated icon of several decades !

nice music from the band, nice arrangement and performance, but the singer is awful, i don't understand a single word mostly because the voice just isn't there, it's not really reaching the mike, and he's trying to sing higher than his range, all I see is his red face and popping veins. if the song itself, the words aren't that important, just give the melody to the trumpet or something.
