Vai is pretty much a hit or miss musician, with majority of his compositions are literally ''garbage'' ....I could probably name 4 or 5 good Vai tunes and that's it.... He's a very good exquisite player but since most of his tunes leaves a lot to be desired, I really don't consider him a virtuoso....Guthrie Govan is a virtuoso, and my definition of a virtuoso is, someone who is well-versed on all styles and hardly plays any bad note...People really overrate Vai so much, cut the dick-riding please!
