Boz Scaggs and his backup band. Steve Miller was the second best singer and guitarist in his old band.

Paul McCartney recorded drums, bass guitar, backing vocals and guitar to the track. Miller sang and performed all the other instruments.True fact!

Comenzaba a gestarse Fly Like Eagle?, no creen?, por ahí suena un riff muy parecido al del comienzo de aquel himno del rock.

Happy 70th Birthday to the original Space Cowboy...Steve Miller!!!!!!One of my favourite artists of all time, those who only know his later work should check out his late 60's, early 70's material such as this track which features a certain Paul Ramon on drums, known to the rest of the world as Paul McCartney!!!

i still have the four track reel to reel and steve's original echo plex that he used to put all those cool effects on his earlier material back in the day...not for sell....told steve he could have them back whenever he thought he would like to have them.

@williwo "“My Dark Hour,” which closes the album, was co-written with Paul McCartney, who also sings backup and plays bass (as Paul Ramon). Paul didn't want credit, nor the cash, thus the pseudonym.Yes, I know what the writing credits say. But you can not lie on the credits, just on who played. Paul could not be Paul Ramon on the credit writing for royalty checks reasons.

@BonelessSausage Fly isnt a ripoff....if thats the case, hes ripping himself off. Miller wrote this, McCartney played on it

McCartney filled in for Ringo on some of the Let It Be stuff too...the Beatles weren't even in the same room any more by then .

This is Rock with a little something extra... There is something about this tune..almost out of this world. I hope I don't sound crazy. Lol.

steve thought this was gonna be his first big hit...so much for that. glad he kept the riff, and turned it into gold..steve's riff, paul just played on this, not wrote it...

@bucky468 There are so many places on the Internet where you can find the answer to that question. And yes there is something wrong with that question. It is insultingly small-minded. Are 100% anything? What makes you so certain?

Robert Cummings

@VoceTubeia You got it! Some people (perhaps bucky468) are large in body but small in mind.

@themancable Ummm...I wasn't trying to be funny or cute when I asked that question. Just wanted to know why. Is there something wrong w/that question?
