The best Canadian band ever. With a Yankee drummer. They wrote and played like no one else at the time. Pure originality. Were also a perfect back up band for Dylan and for good reason.

My God Rick looks so very young and skinny. Great to see The Band at the peak of their glory.

the older I get, the more I appreciate The Band and especially Danko. I wish I hadn't been so caught up in forced fed teen pop crap when I was younger. This shits real, the teen pop drivel isn't.

Such a great clip! I loved that camera angle looking down on Garth. They really were an incredible band. Each individual every bit as important as the other...but I must say..I never really warmed to Robbie the same way as I did the others. Jeez... there must be some great music goin' on "up there" with Levon, Richard and Rick :)

Aw Rick...And Richard and now Levon. All three beautiful voices of The Band now stilled.

They gave this poor boy his fortune and fame. Since that day he had been the same.
