Even though I know and love Russel's pseudo-Anglo falsetto vocalisations on their early stuff, I really like that Russel sings like a bona-fide smartass, suburbian southern Californian here -- something I can relate to.

My friends had a band in the 70s-80s, and a lot of clubs would let them play taped music over their PA during the breaks. This song was one that played about every night and the response from the people in the bars was gret. People would be dancing on the floor and in the aisles. Everybody would ask who it was , and could we play it again .
