i always liked old soilwork with this album, predators portrail and steelbath suicide; dirk and speed competing to see who can be faster in drums and vocals respectively, and super badass guitars.

in technically this album is #2 the guitar rifts and solo are absurdly good. its almost sickening sometimes because ill just skip to the solo of this song sometimes because its just so amazing. but honestly their best work started with A Predator's Portrait, even the band themselves feel like its their best album because they refined their sound and became what they are today. the album has the perfect mix of melody, rifts and overall soilwork sound. CHM is great though, needed more singing.

The reason why i love soilwork so much is because they are the only band I have listened to that can progress their style and still be fucking awesome. every album up to and including Stabbing the Drama was brilliant. After that...meh. The Panic Broadcast has some good tracks only because Peter is back in the band. Sworn to a great divide is pure shit
