I've been listening to Soilwork since 2003 but never bothered to listen to anything pre-figure number five. I'm an idiot because this song is fuckin ridiculous!

I know what you mean. Belive it or not my favourite album is The Panic Broadcast. Soilwork started as the "usual Gotheburg band" and evolved into something unique. Take the song Night Comes Clean: absolute masterpiece, great ideas, perfect executed and it's a lot of fun. No joke, when I listen to that song I really have fun, like watching a movie or reading a good book. Can't wait for the Living Infinite.

damn... that's how you feel, dude? i mean, to each his own, but i feel like their newest release is their strongest musically. it's so diverse, experimental, it still has that signature sound but it feels very fresh and revitalized. epic vocal work, and a lot of creative drumming and percussion elements. i also feel like a lot of their guitar work is a much more elevated, both in the technical aspect as well as the emotional presence behind the writing. sorry to rant, but i'm shocked to see this

i just got so fucking excited and told you that you must listen to every single song that this band has ever written, but then i checked to see when you posted that comment and the website says that you did it one year ago so i'm pretty confident that you've probably already done so. personally, i thoroughly enjoy all of this band's material that i'm familiar with
