Is this Led Zep???   It's sounds just like one of the Zep songs except it's much more funky and nice.

Small Faces “You Need Loving,” is based on a Muddy Waters song, “You Need Love.” But upon listening to “You Need Loving,” it’s immediately obvious that Led Zeppelin borrowed more than a little from The Small Faces. Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love,” released three years later, sounds remarkably similar to “You Need Loving,” and Robert Plant’s delivery has a huge Steve Marriott influence.  Ian McLagan says, “Robert would admit it! He used to come to our shows.  When I heard ‘Whole Lotta Love,’ I just thought, ‘God bless him, he’s singing like Steve!’ He just didn’t have the range.” Kenney Jones also said the Zeppelin guys “were all Small Faces nuts! They nicked all our riffs – you can hear it in all the early Zeppelin stuff.  All their good stuff!”

After reading the comments, I want to point out that LZ wasn't covering You Need Love. Page came up for the riff for Whole Lotta Love and Plant needed lyrics. Robert Plant was a big Small Faces fan as well as a Muddy Waters fan. So he took Dixon's lyrics and mostly sang them the way Steve did. If you listen to the original, you'll see that Marriott completely reinterpreted the song. Muddy had a low range voice and Marriot's range was high so he had to find a different way to sing it.

There is a problem in this comment thread with some people saying Led Zepplin and Small Faces "covering" Willy Dixon.  And yes they covered and adapted.First that shows you that many people see the absolute connection of these songs.But second, it shows you that people don't quite understand that if you cover someones song, then the original writer should get royalties for their creation, just like a musician expect royalties on albums sold, or when a song is played on the radio.Royalties are why famous musicians are rich.

Everyone is neglecting the fact that Small Faces "ripped" off Willie Dixon before Zeppelin ever did. And they claimed the song as their own crediting it to Marriott/Lane, funny thing is they NEVER faced legal action over it. Add to that that this version sounds whole boatloads closer to the WD version then WLL.
