The Ronettes were wonderful! Particularly wonderful was their albums,"Presenting The Fabulous Ronettes featuring Veronica" and "A Gift for You From Philles Records" (from which this song originated in 1963). There was, however, some big differences between The Ronettes and The Supremes. One of the biggest differences was that the Ronettes pushed sex and The Supremes promoted class. Today, The Ronettes might have been more popular, but never back in the early to mid 1960's.

I thought this sounded a little different from what I'm used to hearing. There's one part where the strings just lilt their way into a line of the song, & its sort of startling & beautiful. I love strings! They make the music.
